Challenge of Management

Hi,

Had Challenge of Management from Wednesday to Friday this week which has been great fun. Enjoyed every bit of it (despite my previous post!), even being felt up by a Year 10 15-year old boy, but more on that later.

I was the ‘host’ or as Bryony would say ‘Leader’ of my team. It was great fun, I talked to people I didn’t know and had some great laughs. Amber was in my team and she is hilarious. We ended up laughing for about 10 minutes straight, tears coming out of eyes. I’d definitely do it again.

So anyway, we had a pair of Year 10 students who we had to go and negotiate stuff with. I went to the room they were in and started negotiating innocent things like working conditions and salary etc. Got on relatively ok with a girl called Susa-y. Don’t ask. Everything was going fine until the boy, who was with the girl, started rubbing his foot up against my leg under the table. I started smiling and itching to laugh. It continued. It was well weird. Needless to say, I started laughing and just bolted out of the room mid-negotiations. Had to compose myself before walking back in 5 minutes later. It was great.

I was getting quite into wearing a suit. Business attire is fun! Got some piks below (and more on this link):

It’s been a VERY long time…

Hiii,

Quite possibly, ‘The Daily Adventures of Saf’ was a bit of a lie. Daily Monthly?

To sum up:

• I felt dead one week in which I was constantly tired and was sleeping about 13 hours a day and Bryony thought I was depressed but it turned out that my Hayfever medicine was drowsy…
• I called my Aunty a peasant and she refused to let go of it and kept bringing it up…
• I had presentation skills and did a presentation in front of a room full of people without the usual heart failure/cardiac arrest! T’was a funny presentation. I talked about two people who I loved dearly and were very important to me called Sue and Paul. The whole room thought I was actually talking about people until I took out my iPhone from my pocket and said, ‘I’d like to introduce Paul to you’ and then ‘Sue is Paul’s cousin, the iMac, which is sat at home!’ I laughed. People laughed but it was more at me rather then with me…
• I did the Y12 induction. I showed around students who were thinking of joining the HGS Sixth Form in September. It was so embarrassing. I forgot what the door code was and was forced to wait outside with the new students and make uncomfortable conversation until someone came to open the door. The new students just thought that I was an idiot.
• I’m going to Alton Towers on Wednesday 16th July. I was being forced to go by Bryony and Zainab but now quite excited about it.
• I was praised by the Head of Key Stage 4 for the time and effort I have put in to help the person I’m mentoring and the profound (positive!) effect it has had on their education and general behavior in school. I’ve said before that praise goes straight to my head. Couldn’t stop smiling and being all bouncy.
• Then was praised by my form tutor for the brilliant help that I provided on the Y12 Induction Day. Again the praise went straight to my head.
• Someone (we’ll call them J) has a huge crush on a teacher (who we’ll call Mr C). She’ll kill me for mentioning it on the blog…
• I’ve got stupid Challenge of Management on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week which means I have to wear business attire (i.e. Suit and Tie). For the record, I DO NOT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS.
• Humaira was completely killed by Dr Gregson for leaving it until a couple days before to tell him that she would not be attending the last day of Challenge of Management due to a family wedding. T’was funny.
• Humaira deserved to be killed by Dr Gregson because she told The Git things about me for which The Git gave me a 5 minute lecture in front of people. I don’t like either of you.
• I’ve been so busy recently that I haven’t been able to blog, go on MSN, go on Facebook or do other fun things.
• And we had a Fire Drill at Lunch when I was in Common Room on the laptop. We were supposed to leave our things but instead I stayed, turned off the laptop and packed it away and THEN went out off the building.
• I bought clothes from TopMan and Hannah really liked my jacket and wore it through the whole of Biology while I was forced to wear her tight leather jacket. Looked so gay it was unreal.

FINALLY, THE iPhone 3G HAS FINALLY BEEN ANNOUNCED AND WILL BE OUT JULY 11TH! I CAN’T WAIT!!!

Funny Billboard and more revision…

Hi,

All I seem to F**king do these days is revise. Oh well, there’s only a week or two left. Solid revision but I’ll still fail the stupid exams. I say fail but I mean a B instead of an A!!! I don’t like em.

Anyway, had a break for the first time today since aaages. Ickle cousins came round and then I went out to eat. Felt much better after the long break. And took a funny picture with the iPhone. T’was a great billboard. And who say’s graffiti isn’t good? It made me chuckle so had to take a picture.

Not much else happened… Think I’ll go back to my revision!

Not much else to tell. Had my Business Studies Unit 2 and Unit 3 exams today. Not hard but I ran out of time. I was scribbling after the guy said put your pens down and ended up having to be told twice by an invigilator to stop whilst I kept writing more!

Now comes revision for Biology, Chemistry and Statistics. Fun…

I’m still gonna elaborate on Hecky’s Got Talent. Can’t really be bothered but I will eventually…

We will fail Genetics together…

Hi,

Haven’t blogged in a while now. What other reason can there be apart from exams? Well, in my case it could be laziness, sleepiness, laziness and maybe throw in a bit more of that sleepiness…

Have had five, yes five exams this week. But no worries, I’ve still got another eleven, yes eleven to go… Sorry, I’ll stop doing the whole bold emphasis on numbers…

I don’t wanna talk about the exams. Just painful. They really are.

Humaira - No I’m not revising for Genetics yet. I’ll tell you when I start (although I’m not sure I’ll have time to tell you the morning before the exam…).

Not much has happened in my life recently.

Went to Toys ‘r’ us and plugged the iPhone into all the speaker docks and played my music loud which kinda entertained me.

Oh yea, more disturbing revelations about Gansta Cousin. He wants to have a shower with us all. I told him to get stuffed of course. Dirty pervert. Lol. Joking. Again, it was my misunderstanding of a perfectly innocent situation.

Now I’m gonna go to sleep.

Gangsta cousin has a crush on David Tennant?

Hi,

Weird day today. Had more mock exams. Or shoud I say I failed more mock exams?

News Flash: It appears that ‘Gangsta cousin’ has a crush on David Tennant, the best Doctor Who that Doctor Who has seen. He revealed to me in confidence (so naturally I tell the whole world) that he had a dream in which he wants to, for want of a better word, fuck David Tennant. I didn’t know that he was inclined towards men in that way, especially those men who have an ‘alien’ background to them. Those who travel through time and space seem to turn him on. ‘Whatever floats your boat’.

Moving on to the next point…

Lol. He doesn’t really. He had a dream that he was a Sontaran (you know them great big aliens that look like baked potatoes!) :)  I just decided to read more into the dream and transformed it into him wanting to fuck David Tennant. I can assure you that he doesn’t want to do anything considered inappropriate towards David Tennant (Although I happen to know a certain female someone who wouldn’t mind a bit of David Tennant!)

So anyway. More mock exams tomorrow. I was depressed and have now cheered up with the whole David Tennant thing. Great Stuff.

Webcam Stripping Part 2

Hi,

Had stupid Maths mock exam which I’m sure I failed but in my defence, I’m rubbish at Maths… (Not a very good defence but oh well)

The webcam stripping continues. But this time it wasn’t really stripping. I’d just come out of the shower and was half naked already.

I was using the EEE laptop whilst doing the aforementioned webcam thingy so the small screen made it VERY hard for multiple conversations to be held. I kept saying dirty stuff which was meant for a female recipient but instead accidently typed to Sal (a male recipient in case you were unaware!). Needless to say he was a bit freaked out when I invited him for a video conversation, told him I was half naked, just got out of the shower and would be back in 2 minutes because I was gonna go wear some boxers… Again, in my defence, I can’t say it’s very comfortable getting into bed with no underwear on. I suppose it’s kinda like taking your shopping home with no carrier bags… Hah, I’m thinking that’s a great euphemism for something completely different.

So anyway, I ended everything with freaking Sal out once more. It’s always a good way to end the night. He was telling me something about finding someone fit, and I told him ‘I think you’re fit’. It was great. For me. I get my kicks in weird ways. *wink*

Got more mock exams tomorrow, so I bid you goodnight.

Auditions and Aggressive Hairdressers

Hi,

Had Hecky’s Got Talent auditions today. It was fun. I like watching and judging people. Oh yeah, I don’t think I’ve talked much about this. We (me and another couple people) have organised a Talent Competition at school to raise money for charity. It’s good fun. There were some really good singers and dancers and stand-up comedians. Auditions have to continue next week because so many people came!

So anyway, after school I finally went to go get my haircut. Turned out to be a complete fiasco. This guy who was cutting my hair was being all stupid and aggressive and then started arguing with my brother. I was their thinking he’s cut half my hair, got scissors and hair shaver in his hand and my brother’s making him more angry. I feared that my neck and head would be severed and no longer intact by the time I left so I just got up off the chair and me and bro just walked out. Though admittedly brother had to be coerced to walk out seeing as he was arguing with the guy. So went somewhere else and had my hair cut again. Weird.

Anyway, I’m tired again. Waay too sleepy.

Chemistry revision conference in Manchester

Today was… Different. I think that’s the best possible way to describe today.

We went to a revision conference in manchester and it was boring as hell. Actually I take that back, hell is probably more interesting.

Humaira fell asleep. Enough said! Me and Qudsiyah peered at her until she woke up so she got freaked out that people were staring at her asleep.

Me and Zainab ate sweets and laughed. A lot.

I almost got stuck in a lift because of this funny girl who was in the lift with me.

Almost got run over twice and had cars horning at me to tell me to get the hell out of the way and not open my bag of sweets in the middle of a busy road with oncoming traffic. Fun fun.

We laughed more.

Me and zainab created an insult page.

And that was it.
