Newcastle University! Medicine! CRB! Apple!

November 13th, 2009 | by Saf |

Whoa, 2009 has not been a good year for the blogging. In my defense, I’ve been busy. Ok, I’ve been semi-busy. Hah, completely not believable, yup I’ve been not busy.

Anyway…

Hii!

I’ve started Newcastle University! As you can tell by the title. I’m studying Medicine! As you can also tell by the title. Such exciting stuff! Although I think I might have covered some of this stuff in my last post… Oh well, never mind. Still can’t believe that I’m actually at University now.

Soo, what’s been happening you ask? Well, I’ve had a CRB check done. It came back clear. Yes, I’m just as shocked as you.

Was about to leave the University stuff but just remembered, I took blood from someone! Ok, wait, let me re-phrase that cos that just sounds like I stabbed someone in the street to take blood. We had a practical where we were practising venepuncture. T’was good fun, hands were shaking uncontrollably but when I picked up the needle, I was unbelievably still! Pierced the skin and successfully took blood from someone. See, it was all legal and above board, none of this stabbing business.

Right, I’m off to go watch a film. Or a movie. What’s the difference? I’m stuck. Film or movie? I’m gonna go with movie. I’m off to go watch a movie.

I’m sure I wanted to say something else but I can’t remember…

Oh wait, one more thing, I’m 19! Woo, not really that exciting… Not liking that I’m almost finished being a teenager. Less than a year left. Hmm, I feel as if I should do something this year…

Anyway, that’s me done. I’ll be back tomorrow with more stuff I remember. And I WILL be back tomorrow.

:)

I see you…weren’t back the next day? lol
I’m so jealous of the taking blood! All we did was take blood pressures, which required me to wear a stethoscope, which made me look like I had shrek ears :( Must address scarf/stethoscope issue, lol.
And I totally agree with the weird feeling of not being a teenager any more next year :| Not good. What happened to being 11?!
Further catching up over christmas :D
    *waaaves*
